Mission
Build a clear understanding of the core ideas behind quantum physics, from the experimental puzzles that motivated the theory to the mathematical framework that describes it. By the end, you should be able to explain the main concepts and solve standard introductory problems with confidence.
understand the core ideas of quantum physics
~6 hours · 2 courses
Course 1 · ~150 min
Explain the key experiments and paradoxes that show why classical physics fails at atomic scales
This gives you the conceptual motivation for quantum mechanics before introducing the math, making the later formalism easier to understand.
Course 2 · ~210 min
Use the core mathematical tools of quantum mechanics to analyze simple systems and interpret measurement outcomes
Once you understand why quantum theory is needed, this course gives you the language and tools to actually work with it.
